The Oak Village Property Owners Association is governed by a Board of Directors composed of directors elected by the membership. From among the directors, the Board elects its officers, which typically include a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, in accordance with the Association’s governing documents and Florida Statutes.

The Board may establish standing committees to assist in carrying out Association responsibilities. These committees are chaired by directors and currently include the Architectural Control Board (ACB), Deed Restriction Committee, Common Area (Greenbelt) Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Communications and Technology Committee.

The Oak Village Board of Directors is responsible for enforcing the Association’s deed restrictions, including architectural control provisions. The Board is also charged with preserving, protecting, and maintaining the Greenbelt common areas; providing and supervising nighttime security services; and maintaining liaison with Citrus County agencies on matters affecting the Oak Village community.

The Board of Directors meets monthly on the third Friday of each month. The Annual Meeting of the Members is held each year in March. Except as permitted by Florida law, all meetings of the Board and the membership are open to members of the Association.

The day-to-day operations of the Association are administered by a professional Community Management Company and a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM), operating under the direction and oversight of the Board of Directors.
